TIPS 'N TRIPS - New York; uniqueness, diversity & style...

Nothing hits in like NYC. We are utterly in love with this city and how it perfected uniqueness, diversity and style. Unfortunately for us this time our trip was too quick, just hopped in and out for our first trade show in town, but we still tired to get as many spots in from our foodie bucket list.

#1 TSUMO

Located in Manhattan, more specifically in the Hips Bay district, this small Omakase restaurants operates no more than 30 guests per time slot. This results into great care of their customers and great attention to service. Their set menu of 13 courses for dinner comes at only $58, which is an amazing value considering that they are using all high quality ingredients. The experience takes around 75 minutes to complete, and no worries if you have a hard time eating certain types of fish, your chef will accomodate any of your preferences by substituting it with other ingredients present.

#2 BUDDAKAN

This place always hit the spot! We always love to come here, the way they mix Asian cuisine with an European vibe is just immaculate. We loved their Black Cod, but if there is one thigh we recommend you order its the Crying Chocolate, the balance between the coffee ice cream and the molten lava cake is simply unbelievable. Also very insta worthy, so girls make sure your DON’T @ ME outfits are pic proof.

#3 PASTIS

It’s a place full of memories, we remember going there our first time in NYC when we were 7 years olds and despite the change of venues it always keeps its charm. We’re in love with their Onion soup, also their Burger: TO DIE FOR!

#4 CHELSEA MARKET

Always evolving here you can always find some cool new street food restaurants to try. Despite this the Lobster Place has our heart, don’t forget to order their lobster roll and bisque.
